Conference Times and Dates 

The 2022 New York State Family History Conference begins Thursday, September 8 at 11:00 am ET and concludes Saturday, September 10 at 4:30 pm ET. Those participating with the NYSFHC @ Home pass will have access to selected live broadcasts from events in Albany and have full access to on-demand sessions beginning Monday, September 12, and concluding Monday, October 17. 

Session Times and Schedule 

The opening session will begin at 11:30 am ET on Thursday, September 8. In addition to other important details, the session will feature  Dr. Benjamin L. Carp’s keynote address. Individual sessions will begin at 1:15 pm, with three concurrent presentations each time slot. 

Meals/Lunches 

Each day’s lunch break will include entertainment and other activities. Lunch is on your own, however box lunches are available for advanced purchase to all registrants. Box lunch options include roast beef, turkey, ham, or a vegetarian wrap. 

Hotel/Travel

The Albany Hilton is located in downtown Albany on State St and Lodge St, just off New York State Route 32. Parking is available at the Hilton for $15 per day. Conference participants will receive details about room reservations (including conference discounts) after registering for the conference.  Learn more about the Albany Hilton.

If you are arriving by bus, the Albany Bus Terminal is just half a mile from the Hilton and a short car ride. By train, travel to the Albany/Rensselaer station. 

For those flying to New York, Albany International Airport is located 15 minutes away from the Hilton by car and 45 minutes away by train.
